I’m always going on about being an artist. But, what does that mean when you find yourself pushing a trolley?
Well, it essentially means you think about what would make you the best trolley pusher in the world. You are continually tweaking little things to take your service, your job, your work to a level where people see it as art.
Importantly, you are doing this to elevate the action, not yourself. But, interestingly, when you practice and focus on making art- you elevate both yourself and your work.
This is especially true in service positions where your art is on display all the time, allowing you to make the biggest difference for you and shine.
So when you hear me say Be an Artist- we should think to ourselves, “what have I done today to improve my work, my life…my art”.
Keep pushing. Be an Artist.
