We continue to take action to ensure Shine is as safe as possible during this period. These actions include:
- Cleaning: all surfaces are being cleaned multiple times per day.
- Social Distancing: We have set up barriers at reception and limited the use of the lift to remind people to work at a safe distance of 2m. This keeps you and our staff safe.
- We have locked the front door to ensure only persons with essential business at Shine are allowed to enter, limiting the person count in the building.
- We have shut the cafe to avoid congregating.
- We have assigned toilets for each tenant, limiting possible cross contamination.
- We are limiting our meeting space use to emergency and essential organisations. These small groups are being set up in rooms that allow for 2m distance between each person.
To ensure the safety of our people and given the current trading conditions for catering and conferencing, we will be operating with a limited staff team during this challenging time. We’d be grateful for your patience, if our service level drops below our normally high expectations.
We will continue to monitor the situation and adhere to changing government guidelines. Importantly, we will remain open for as long as the government allows.

Within our big, welcoming building we offer 15 event, conference, and meeting rooms along with 15 offices and 20 hot-desks. All of these are wrapped around a roomy central atrium, including our café and art gallery. With a blend of classic and contemporary design, Shine is a surprising and inspiring place.
Size doesn’t matter, how you view life does. We are where business, community, and creativity connect as we support and learn from each other. Shine hosts entrepreneurs, start-ups, and multi-national businesses for meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, and rehearsals. From large groups to one-to-ones, we’re confident we’ll have the right size space for you.
